Giving

What do we believe about giving?

We follow the New Testament teachings about giving.  2 Corinthians says: "Give whatever you can according to what you have. If you are really eager to give, it isn't important how much you are able to give. God wants you to give what you have, not what you don't have." and "You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give.  Don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure.  For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.  And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others."

Why give to Remedy Church?

When a person invests their time, talent, or treasure into their local church, they are saying that they want to be a part of, or support the mission of that particular body of believers.  In regards to monetary giving, if the church manages their finances in a biblical manner, you should be able to see a tangible return on that investment.  At Remedy Church, we believe that being good stewards of our money is a must!  We do not have any paid staff, we own our building, and we are completely debt-free. This means that with all of the money we receive, we are able to invest it right back into the people of Collinsville and other surrounding neighborhoods.

Is my giving tax deductible?

Yes! Remedy Church Ministries, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.  If you would like to receive a paper tax statement at the end of the year, please include your name and address when making your online donation.
